A large wild cherry was growing over a house and two driveways. It was a much loved and appreciated tree, so the aim was to reduce its size without losing its character.
We reduced and shaped the crown, pruning back to good growth points to preserve the health of the tree while retaining its appearance.
Keeping the tree regularly pruned stops it interfering with the house and keeps a good shape and form, without the need for harsh, heavy pruning.
